Go back in time to when these animals lived all those millions of years ago and build the T-Rex, crank the handle and watch as it bends down, opens its mouth to eat his prey. Be careful!!! Watch out for those teeth!!!!!
Two cams opposed to one another, one in a cam box, the other on the end of the crankshaft provide via a pair of rods connected to the lower legs all the motive force for the T-Rex. The legs are connected to the rods via pivots and the body, neck and tail all pivot on a six millimeter central shaft. A series of additional pivots and connecting rods provide the conversion of the cam movement into opening and closing of the jaws, up and down motion of the forelegs and up and down motion of the tail.
