The “King of the Jungle”, crank the handle and watch him raise his head and roar!!!!!!!!!! Designed for easier assembly so that the younger members of the family can join in the fun of working models, the Lion is one of a new series of three flat pack kits now available from Timberkits US.
The flat pack animals all use a similar mechanism, at the heart if which is an offset cam in a horizontal cam box which is open at one end. That box is connected to a single flat vertical pushrod that makes connections to other parts of the body by short pushrods or body parts acting as cams and cam followers to create a motion that is unique to the animal depicted in the kit.
Unfortunately we are unable to engrave on this model due to the packaging.

The models are manufactured from renewable wood sources and are design for age 9 and over. Younger builders may require the assistance of an adult. The models, both kits and built, are not suitable for children 3 years and under due to the risk of choking on the small parts.
