From the Musician Series, this multi tasked talented Drummer manages to play two drums and two cymbals while swaying backwards and forwards and keeping two rhythms going, using a series of triangular and square cams attached to the crank handle.
In the base of the Drummer is a pair of triangular cams offset from one another by thirty degrees. These operate a single lever and via a pushrod the double speed snare drum effect is achieved. On the same shaft is pair of round ended cams that are horizontally opposed and this provides movement to the legs. The hi-hat symbol is operated by the left foot using a half round washer on the shaft and the bass drum pedal is a pivot inset in the right foot. The body is pivoted at the base of the torso and the lever operating the right leg causes the body to move and thus strike the symbol on the base drum with the right arm.
