Timberkits isn’t just for the boys!!

Well, when I first looked at a model kit, I thought Oh no this isn’t for me, it looks far too difficult to even start. Well I can now honestly say that it isn’t true. Ladies we can do this!

I am now able to make models, OK I’m probably a bit slower at doing this but I get there in the end. I find it very satisfying once I see the finished model. I help my husband Mel and Brent the Masterbuilder when it gets busy here in Houston and we need more stock. I really enjoy this

Timberkits have Eric who designs all the models and he is supported by his wife Alison and behind the scenes is Luise who is the UK super model builder; she can do any of the kits that are out there. Here is a picture here of her building in the depths of the Welsh Mountains!

So ladies, don’t be afraid, get a kit and then feel really proud of yourself when you can say, I’ve built this from the ground up. Also it is great fun to paint the models and personalize them yourself. Some people even put little lights on them to make them a bit more interesting and unique while others paint them and send them as presents to friends and relatives.
